President Trump’s Asian hate was very evident during the campaign. It was disgusting. And his Asian hate moved Trump once elected and inaugurated into a policy where he tried to increase his tariffs tax to 245% on China.
To make it worse, he was very disrespectful and arrogant towards China. China didn’t deserve it. And American consumers and businesses trading with China didn’t deserve it. The Chinese people didn’t deserve it. They didn’t deserve the tariffs. And they didn’t deserve the level of Asian bigotry and disrespect.
China is a becoming a very mature economy. The US must move into an attitude of collaboration with China. We need to move into a “mind your own damn business” when it comes to meddling in the Chinese internal affairs, including China’s clear one China policy the US agreed to on 1/1/1979 regarding Taiwan.
Jimmy Carter pointed out that since the US normalized relations with China they have NEVER been to war. Not once. Not ever. The US should compete with China on their record of NOT going to war. That is the competition the US should have with China. Lets not go to war and see if we can do it as long as China has done.
Trump will be lucky – very lucky – if Xi Jinping accepts his flip flop that didn’t occur until Trump had the US economy on the ropes. But China doesn’t need the US economy. Because Trump attacked every country on the planet China has Trump over a barrel. No country wants to deal with Trump, or the US. That creates huge opportunity for China.
The US middle class should demand that Trump stop his hate. It exists in and for every demographic group in the country – and every country on the planet, really.
Trump’s hate doesn’t work. It didn’t work on China. It won’t work in his hateful plan to send people to an El Salvador gulag at all, never mind without due process.
Trump has embarrassed our country. It’s not the first time. And it’s become too frequent. It needs to stop.
And it doesn’t look like that is going to happen. And for that. The US economy is totally screwed with one exception.
Even if Trump can maintain consistency long enough to reverse his tariffs, the damage is done. And the Trump economy is likely continue to move to a severer recession even if he can maintain his flip flop.
And because of that, BOTH chambers – the House and the Senate – are very much in play for 2026.

如果习近平接受特朗普的反复无常，特朗普将很幸运——非常幸运——而特朗普的反复无常直到美国经济陷入困境才发生。但中国不需要美国经济。因为特朗普攻击了地球上的每一个国家，中国已经把特朗普逼上了绝路。没有哪个国家愿意与特朗普或美国打交道。这给中国创造了巨大的机会。
美国中产阶级应该要求特朗普停止他的仇恨。这种仇恨存在于美国每个人口群体——实际上是地球上的每个国家——之中，也存在于每个群体之中。
特朗普的仇恨行不通。它对中国不起作用。它对他把人送往萨尔瓦多古拉格的仇恨计划根本行不通，更不用说未经正当程序就把人送往萨尔瓦多古拉格了。
特朗普让我们的国家蒙羞。这不是第一次了。而且这种情况已经太频繁了。这种局面必须停止。
而且看起来这种情况不会发生。正因如此，美国经济除了一个例外，已经完全崩溃了。
即使特朗普能够保持足够长的一致性，最终扭转关税政策，损害也已经造成。即使他能继续反复无常，特朗普领导下的经济也可能继续陷入更严重的衰退。
正因如此，众议院和参议院——2026年大选的胜负悬而未决。
